We rarely ever order delivery pizza because you never know what you’re going to get… With that being said, we were starving the other night and didn’t want to cook, and more importantly, we didn’t want to do dishes. So we ordered Gluten Free Pizza from Domino’s. Their website includes the disclaimer that it isn’t truly GF because it is prepared in a kitchen where products containing gluten are also prepared. PizzaNearMe.com wants to reiterate that you should not order this product if you suffer from celiac disease or have a severe allergy to gluten.
The Domino’s store is pretty close to our house so our pies were hot when they arrived. They only offer a 10 inch GF pizza crust so the pizza is fairly small. The crust was very thin, mine was a little undercooked so it was a little gooey, and not in a good way. I do like their sauce, but it wasn’t as good on an undercooked crust. I had mushrooms, onions, and ground beef. The toppings were generous, but as usual, there just wasn’t enough cheese. My husband’s pizza had mushrooms, green peppers, and sausage. He said his crust was over cooked so it was a bit crunchy and what you would expect if you were to order a thin crust pizza. We both woke up with some stomach issues. At least I was able to sleep through mine. For him…not so much.
Over all, the Gluten Free Pizza from Domino’s was just ok. PizzaNearMe.com gives it a neutral rating and will probably not order from there again. We know the perfect gluten free crust is out there….we just haven’t found it yet.
